Spartan Firearms has my support and recommendation for sure! Reached North Portal, with weapons, after working with "Royal" Canada weeks before leaving TDY in the south. They stopped me and, despite having receipts with ATT paperwork, was told I couldn't bring my weapons through to home in Alaska. Had to find a place to ship the weapons and ammo and this establishment was the one! Worked with GM, purchased more ammo (of course because of prices!) and everything was set. Had a few mix-ups, over time, with shipping but they handled it with precision. Squared away organization, dedicated and motivated veterans, and just the best type of humans you can interact with within this business. Thanks for what you do Spartan!

Not a review but a comment- ~"no black powder weapons allowed in the gun range" 😂😂😂 what a disaster that would be! Website and such look nice, might have to visit you guys next time I'm in town.

Lousy customer service and won’t accept returns. There’s much better gun stores in town that are friendly, stand behind what they sell and want to earn your business instead of treating you like a nuisance. ***so I guess you just log on here once in a while and try to refute any poor reviews. Doesn’t look like you ever leave any contact info or ask any of your dissatisfied customers to contact you. Zero interest in making it right.

Worst place ever! I would never recommend this place to anyone! They trick you into spending HUNDREDS. They say “choose any 3 for $30” then when you choose an assault rifle that add an additional $100 for the rental...and totally forget to tell you that part. They say ear protection is in the bundle....then charge you for it. The young girl at the counter is terrible at being honest and telling you up front the prices. I’d rather shoot a NERF gun at home.

Questions & Answers

Do you have an indoor range? If you do, what are the costs?

Kale Hedberg | Jun 12, 2020
Spartan Firearms (Owner) | Jun 13, 2020

Hi Kale - we are in the process of building the new range. It will be open mid-January. There are a couple of different ways to come shoot. We have an hourly charge $15/hour or $25/2 hours. We will also offer range memberships for folks who like to shoot a lot. We have all the pricing available at the store and advance memberships will go on sale Nov. 1st. Membership will have some privileges that hourly customers won't have. Thanks for asking...stop out to the store and we can give you more info!

Can you fire .300 blackout rounds at the indoor range?

Is your shop capable of doing in-house cerakote finishing?

Michael Murray | Jun 12, 2020

No Michael I'm sorry, we don't do that. We usually recommend AMP'D Cerakote out of Grand Forks. Adam Pribula

Im looking to have a cetme receiver mailed through Atlantic firearms, would you be able to help with transfer? And what would the cost be for transfer?

Zack Eggers | Jun 12, 2020

According to the FFL dealer page of Spartans website, they DO transfer firearms for a $20 fee. Though they encourage you to check through them if they can source one for a comparable or even cheaper price.
