Make sure that you double check your ticket and take a picture of your scale weight. The inexperienced scale operator stamped me in 2,000lbs under weight somehow. I was told to wait for a manager to call me that same day, they did not . After a week of trying to get hold of a manager I was told there’s nothing they can do. I’ll note that I’ve been a regular here for many years and this is the only incident I’ve had, I just don’t want it to happen to anyone else.

I use to work their and you need a title or no title if you have a title you get more money. If dont you get less money tires have to be off or its 100 pounds per tire and gas tank must be off. All this must be done before you get their. You can push it in pull it or tow it in. Must have ID to get paid
You will need to provide a Maryland MVA "indemnity form" assuring the company that you have proprietary rights to the possession of the vehicle. Without it, you will not be able to scrap the vehicle. Also note that you will have to fully remove the fuel tank from the vehicle, it will not be accepted with a gas tank still mounted on the vehicle. And you take have to take the wheels and tires with you. You cannot leave them, or you'll face a substantial deduction from the amount that you'll receive for the scrap payout. Hope this helps.

Some are. Some aren't
They do not accept singular alternators ( or any other ) cores. 1 alternator will not be enough weight to justify a trip, and wouldn't even be enough to register a measurable weight to pay you for. Even if you take it to a specific core buyer, unless it is a highly expensive alternator, with a high core value. ..one alternator isn't worth a extra trip. Sorry if this wasn't what you wanted to hear, but I'm only telling you the truth. Hope this helps.
