My husband and I stayed in the cabin for two nights. It was spotless and the bed was so comfortable. The view is amazing. The owners Kim and Jim were so kind to us. It was exactly what we needed during a challenging time.

Kim and Jim are wonderful! We had a small snafu upon checking but they went above and beyond to take care of us and make us happy. It’s a beautiful, simple place with a ton of character. You shouldn’t look any more and you should book here. This is the perfect, quiet and CLEAN place to stay and get away. 5 star ⭐️ treatment!

Hidden Gem in northeast Texas! Scenic View is literally has an amazing scenic view! I found this place for the 4th of July weekend and came back a couple of months later for Labor Day weekend. I am from Houston and it has been worth the drive. The motel rooms are clean and complete. It even came with a kitchen! The rooms are waterfront which is amazing. No need to walk far to jump into the lake. Kim and Jim are super friendly and accommodating! This mini resort is budget friendly and in my opinion it is worth much more! I’m glad I found this place and I will definitely be coming back 2-4 times a year. No words can explain my wonderful experience there. Thank you Kim and Jim!
