We use the scooter shop for the Maryland State Fair and it worked out very well. Had great service. We bought several scooters to use as rentals and it worked out very well for us. The patrons at the fair enjoyed using them and getting around the grounds. We would certainly use The Scooter Shop again!

Kay was awesome explaining all the functions of our new scooter, she is an asset to your company. Very friendly and helpful, would recommend your store to anyone looking for a mobility scooter

Just wanted to share the excellent experience I had while renting a 4 wheel scooter for my grandmother this past weekend. The scooter worked perfectly and every person we spoke to was very helpful and made the experience enjoyable. We will be back for future needs. Thank you!

Hello we do not in our showroom but have access to purchase for customers.
The Scooter Shop typically does not purchase equipment. Try: Craigslist, Facebook Marketplace, Ebay, or just sell within your community. Also, check with the Department of Aging/Disabilities for the county you reside in and see if they have recommendations.
The Scooter Shop does not buy used mobility scooters. However, if/when you do sell it within your community, the money can be applied toward the purchase of a new mobility scooter. Mobility scooters are good to replace every 5-10 years depending on usage and maintenance overtime. It can be difficult to get parts for discontinued scooters.
Hello! There are specific guidelines that Medicare has in place in order to pay for a scooter. The individual must use the scooter inside there home to perform daily living activities such as cooking, bathing, cleaning, sleeping etc. They must not be able to use a cane, walker or push a manual wheelchair as this will justify lesser equipment for mobility than a scooter. We do not provide any Medicare billing. If you have further questions you can call is at 877.224.2294. Thank you.
