Staff was great. The sheets on the bed were wore out. They were fitted and would not stay on the mattress. Mattress also was worn out and dipped. Bedding was awful for over $200. A night. The rim at bottom of shower door that keeps wayer from running out of shower was filthy. I took my finger to see if it would come off and it would. It was black. They need to up the par on Linens and trash some and deep clean shower doors.

Rooms: Rooms are standard Fairfield rooms, king room was a decent size and bathroom was spacious. Staff: Nice staff, breakfast attendant was nice and helpful in the morning. Breakfast: Free breakfast is always a plus. Items during my stay were premade Egg omelettes (one with cheese and peppers, one with only cheese), waffles, yogurts, muffins, cereal. There were no meat options or breakfast sandwiches like other Fairfield's which was a little disappointing but nothing too inconvenient. Location: Probably the best aspect of the hotel. This is the closest Marriott to Kings Dominion (12ish minutes) and has easy access to the interstate. Plenty of food and shopping within walking distance if you need anything plus more within a short driving distance. I will definitely stay here again if I go back to Kings Dominion or am near Richmond.

I expect better for $158+ a night. I’m grateful they accept pets. However I wasn’t expecting sheets with stab wounds, marked and scuffed walls and fixture and the shampoo/conditioner/body wash receptacle to be unglued from the wall — and almost completely empty. Thankfully I had my own stuff that I was able to access quickly vs. shutting off the shower and dressing to go to lobby to get supplies. This is what I’d expect for a $70 a night facility. There was no breakfast either - which I knew going in, but it just seemed even more sad knowing I’d paid for a room that didn’t live up to my hopes. That being said, I’m still eternally grateful they accept dogs.

Extremely disappointed when speaking to a customer service rep at the hotel! She was extremely rude when I had no choice to cancel due to impending storm and unsafe roadway travel and charged a very high cancellation fee. Her inability to have understanding and some flexibility will result in us never booking here again!
