The cold spring water has flowed out of the hill above for over 50 years. My parents and grandparents used to take me and my siblings there, then we took our children, now our grandchildren. In 1862, a civil war battle happened on this site. Picnic shelters/tables have been placed in the area to enjoy gathering to eat a meal.

Great little spot to stop and stretch your legs if you need to! A sign explaining what happened at this spot is there and I always I’ve learning about those types of things! Nice seating if you wanted to stop for lunch or a snack. Places for trash cans but no trash cans sadly. Try and make a stop if you can but definitely something that can be missed on the road trip

Very beautiful and peaceful park, nestled among tall shade trees. We had used the gazebo for a singing stage. Great park!

I remember going here as a kid and playing in the water. It's still as cold as I remember. I got the opportunity to take my kids recently.

No there is no restrooms, not that I saw? I do fill up my jugs there, all 30 of them!😏The town water is bad, and my well water does not taste good to drink. Pipe springs is plenty good tasting an btr then my water at my home! 🙄
Ive lived around here most of my life of 47 years and i dont know of anymore
There's a pipe sticking out of the Hill about 4 feet off the ground right where the little stream is. Sorry. I don't knowabout any water coming out except for what comes out of the pipe. I had thought about hiking up the hill at one point years ago when I was able, but I assumed it was private property.
