I love my son’s Endocrinologist, but the office staff is always ridiculous. After YEARS of coming here it’s still the same problems. Half the staff is miserable and they don’t speak to your children. If you come early for your appointment, as told to in the messages, you WILL sit there until your appointment time. You’ll watch everyone that came in after you get triaged, while you wait for your appointment. I have never once came here for a doctors appointment and not had a problem with the office staff and their ridiculous attitudes. I really wish his doctor would pick a different facility.

We were here 10yrs ago, for the longest 4 months of our lives thru our sons illness & recovery from adem, coma tbi & seizures , i remember 1 thing well, them telling me i can't stay till my 3yr old son falls asleep, because he started to follow my pattern & not fall asleep as long as possible, so they made me leave him while he was awake & i could hear him screaming crying thru 2 sets of steel doors & inside the elevator , it was not only Traumatic to myself but also my son,, he is 13 now & still can't stand to be in the room at bedtime alone without me or his dad. I can still feel my heaetache as i would stand crying in that elevator, the tourture & heartache i wouldn't wish on any mom or dad or any family at all. this should not be how to deal w a child especially one sick & that young.

Absolutely disheartening at the care my infant son is receiving at MWPH. Attempted to even contact a patient advocate, but she is out of the office until July 11th with no alternate. If you have other options for care, please reconsider.

Case worker my daughter had did not do anything and gave me wrong information about many things. My daughter is currently on feeding tube and oxygen machine and I was told by the case manager that they had all the order.... The order for a portable feeding tube with backpack or extra tubing was never put in. And apparently some time in February her MCO was cut off and neither case worker nor the insurance people informed me. When it was close to discharge day.. I had asked the oxygen people if they could deliver the stuff to the hospital since I cannot drive. She had said that they could and when the day came all of a sudden they couldn't and the mini oxygen tank was empty by time of discharge. For the insurance information she had told to keep all the doctors appointment set because she requires specialists and the Medicaid should cover it but she got all the referrals for all of them and that since it was discharged cay she will be re-enrolled in her MCO when she sends everything over to them.... She did not send anything at all. And it took me a while month in a half of phone tag and having high blood pressure to get her put back onto her MCO. Also about a week later the case worker called to check in and was told as was I and it was in discharge papers that she needed to schedule PT for my daughter since she was born prematurely. This woman really needs to retire or get fired. Bc children are important patients especially the babies with a bunch of difficulties. So I wish someone higher up would talk to me because I do not like that like of help and care I got towards my daughter especially at the beginning when I needed the most to get used to setting up and doing the feeding tube.

Questions & Answers

My grandfather worked at Happy Hills convalescent home for children in the 1960s and 70s. I have searched for photos of the pool dedication or other information mentioning him. His name was Montague John Hutt Sr.

My mother Miriam Peyton was in Happy Hills in 1939 for a few year's. She is still with us today and has picture's of the time there. Mom would love to come and give the pictures she have's to someone there.

It's an awesome hospital. It's on the smaller side so your child gets a lot of attention and the help they need. The nursing staff and all the therapist are wonderful. My daughter was there for 2 and a half months and just loved everyone there.
