When my mother was in there, I counted down the days that she would come home from rehab. At first I thought ... what a nice clean facility, but looks are deceiving. Below is my feedback. 1) when you need to care for patients it requires a certain bed side manner, patience, and a caring nature. There was one particular CNA who I found to be the opposite of this, quite honestly she shouldn't be working with elderly patients. Just a rude, impatient person. However, nurse McKenzie was awesome. 2) if you require visitors to pick up the phone in the lobby so you can exit the building then someone needs to pick up the phone to let you out. A couple of times I had to hunt someone down to let me out, or hope someone was coming in and then I could leave. 3) often times the hot meal was cold by the time it was served. 4) no good schedule for showers, having them so late at times you end up going to bed with a wet head. 5) if some of these short comings are due to staffing issues than you should not look to fill, a bed to be able to bill for it. Staff to patient ratio needs to be manageable. Maybe a survey to exiting patient needs to be done... call it voice if the patient.

Where do I begin … from the rude night staff who answers the phone with “ what do you want” . To the administration telling me that I had to call my mother’s insurance company to get them to approval her stay for 4 days after was rushed to the ER. She spent less than 24 hours in the hospital and was returned back to the rehab .Admissions admitted they didn’t think she needed it. I was informed that if they didn’t approve it ,I would have pay for the 4 days out of pocket. When discharged, she was given completed meds , insulin which was in a vial with no instruction on how to administer it. Last but not least included with her take home meds was SOMEONE ELSE MEDICATION!!!!! 1 star isn’t low enough .
