We've lived in Brunswick for over six years but never visited this place till now. I thought this would be a very small exhibit but it's bigger and more impressive than anticipated - lots of photos and artifacts of Brunswick's history and an impressive and long model of the train route to Union Station. A definite must place to visit for anyone living in Brunswick or for anyone visiting the area.

Kids always enjoy the model layout on top floor. They always ask questions while walking around the historical items.

When did the museum open?

It was founded during the Jubilee but the museum was not created until 1974. It was called the Brunswick Railroad Museum until 2013 when it was changed to the Brunswick Heritage Museum.
