Xfinity came out to complete "Scheduled Maintenance" that was not initiated by me and totally knocked out my service..."Flat lined" is what the word the reps used. I call in to ask for them to correct the mistake THEY made and i get told i can be put on a waiting list or 10-12am on Tuesday....Wait, didnt your tech just knock out my service through no fault of mine and now i have to wait for you to correct your mistake? There is no wonder why consensus is this company is rated so low by consumers. All i need is a tech for 15 to 20 min to fix the issue they started, but sales are more important, got it. If you can go with another carrier, do. This is not worth the headache ive gone through

If your Wifi network is unsecured.. It is possible for someone to hack your device..
Try in plugging the back for 60 seconds, plug back in. Let it reboot. If that doesn't help. You'll probably need a Tech. Hope that helps. I have that same issue in one room in our house
