August 21, 2022. It wasn't hot because we arrived before 10am. But do use bug spray. Great hiking trails. Kids said they saw a bear.πŸ»πŸΎπŸ€”πŸ€£. We did receive plenty of fresh fish from a dude and his grandson.

Some of the trails are almost non-existent and you will start to veer off into the woods, so keep a look out for the orange blazes for hiking or the pink blazes for horse trails. Most of the hiking and horse trails intertwined so you can choose your route, although some of the horse trails look to dead end into woods from lack of use. Luckily I had an app on my phone to guide me in the general direction I needed to go until I found the trails again. There's a pavilion with picnic tables and grills near the lakeside which could be nice for a picnic.
