I want to share my experience with you. I am based in Australia, buying art and glass from the US. This was my first interaction with Parcel Plus. To be honest, I didn't know they existed. I used the services of the Rockville MD store. Matthew and Kim offered what for me was one of the most honest, best communicated and fairest priced shipping service from the US to Australia. I've dealt with dozens of shippers before, but this was different and my experience to date exceeded my expectations. My wife and I needed to get closing docs notarized and first set up an appointment with a UPS Store. In summary, they did not have staff onsite to do the job when we arrived for our appointment. They did say that it would probably cost around $75 if they did it though. We then went to another UPS Store. They said that their personnel didn't have "the level of authority needed" to notarize the docs. Then we very fortunately found Kim at Parcel Plus! Not only did she have the authority, ability and willingness to notarize our closing docs, she took us on as walk-ins and made the process easy and pleasurable; not to mention way less costly than the $75 quoted by UPS Store. Parcel Plus charged us less than $10...if I remember right, it may have been around $4. She's an absolute gem! We were highly stressed and pressed for time that day and dealing with Kim really took the pressure and the stress off us. We have another set of docs to notarize and are heading straight back to Kim. VERY highly recommend Kim and her store!
