Kinfolks Cafe is da move. Listen well. I came here years ago when my daughter was a student at Bethune Cookman 2011-2015. It was spectacular then and it is spectacu-ma-lar now. I don't eat meat. However, I don't sweat if there's meat in my veggies or beans. I jist pick it out. I had cabbage, yams, yellow rice and butter beans, peach cobbler and sweet tea. No meat in any of them. I meant to take a pix, but that occurred to me at the last bite. They have an excellent menu for soul food lovers. I'm health conscious. Definitely something for the health conscious folks. The taste factor is a 12 out 10! 😛😜😝. I'm not a dessert eater. But da peach cobbler is off da chain. Hot, smooth, sweet and creamy. Looks and tastes as sexy as it sounds. In short, a true special culinary delight of the highest order. The service is spectacular and down home friendly. The place is CLEAN. I'm Virgo picky about that cleanliness. Whether you're in Daytona Beach or rolling up or down I-95, or in a nearby town, I highly recommend that you make your way behind Bethune Cookman and... GET SOME!!!!

Stop by here on my way back home for dinner. Ordered the catfish, sweet potatoes and black eyed peas. It was delicious, real home cooked food. Service was excellent, price is reasonable and wait was worth it. I’ll be coming back.
