I get a text reminding me to show up at 7:15am for my appointment. I arrive around 7:10am to a dark office although I can hear people talking. After knocking several times a woman comes to the door saying yes? I said I'm here for my appointment. She said we always tell you to arrive early but I'm not unlocking this door until 7:25. Very rude and smart mouthed. Very uncalled for and unprofessional. Now I remember why I went to the White Marsh location even though I live in Dundalk

The staff is extremely helpful and very knowledgeable. My first visit I fell prior to my appointment. I was so anxious as I was transitioning to a new Pain Mgt doctor. I fall often due to weak ankles. It was a bad fall. However, I got in my car and drove the appointment. I was in extreme pain and it was clear my ankle was badly sprained. I couldn’t even walk to the office. Dr. Gurman heard about the incident. “Refused” to see me and said to call 911. If I refuse, it was my choice but as a doctor, that was his recommendation. The staff was worried as I had a huge gash that was unnoticeable. I allowed the staff to call an ambulance. The staff could not clean my wound as it is not that type of faculty. But one went around the building and found bandages. I was given an appointment for Sat immediately. Prior to the appointment, the staff called and checked in on me. I saw Dr.Gurman and he was warm and had a great bedside manor. I do see his PA, Kevin, whi is fantastic as well.

The staff is so pleasant. Definitely professional at all times. Minimal wait time. Everytime I am there even though I may not be feeling well they make your experience as comfortable as possible.

Do you offer Virtual Appointments for established patients that need to see the doctor every 30 days for medication check in ? My uncle (72) is a patients of Dr. Jari and has continuous severe lower back pain and it's hard for him to get around

I have been a patient there for t while, when I do check in on line it says about wirtual appointment, but I believe it's better to call and see if he qualifies. I had a stroke in November and they have me come in for appointment once a month anyway.

The last time I was there I went to the one at gbmc it was awful! Her name was Emily zapp who took my painpills because I had to take more for them to work if they prescribed the doses that we need we wouldn't need to take more!

What if I've been around some one with covid

If you have been exposed they ask you that question on your online registration and may be able to accommodate you by seeing you via telehealth. It depends based upon your provider and whether they're still offering it or not. Just call the main number and let them know that you have been exposed and they will figure it out.

Do they not like prescribing opiode meds

Joel Morris | Oct 21, 2019

Thanks for the question Joel, our doctors are highly skilled at treating pain. Opioids are just one way of treating pain. It is true the minimally invasive procedures and multidiscipline methods they use are effective and targets pain. This also enables the patient to avoid the potential side effects some people may experience with opioids. So yes they prescribe opioids but it is one small way they reduce pain.
