I've read some negative reviews so I felt I needed to speak up about Valencia. It is one of a kind, there are young families with kids (not the majority though), younger singles, & retired families. The amenities are excellent, the landscaping and grounds are close to immaculate. Security is very good. Pets are welcome & 99% are clean, well-behaved. Solid concrete block construction, centrally located, better than waterfront!

When I first moved in during Fall of 2018 it was a decent place to live. A year later and I wish I could sell my unit and get out of this absolute mess. The never-ending roofing project has turned the community into a construction hellscape. When it’s not constant noise from the roofers it’s constant noise from leaf blowers. I haven’t been able to sit on my outdoor patio in over 6 months because they’ve decided it’s the designated “workers homebase” where they sit and hang out in their trucks and drive cranes and supplies back and forth the entire day. Even though they’re done with the roof on my building, they will stay in this area and deprive me of privacy for 6 plus months for the entirety of the project. And now that it’s spring break and the nicest time of the year they decide to close the pool since they’re working on the roof of the nearby building. So make that 2 years in a row I can’t use the pool during spring because of covid last year they shut it for months. This isn’t a good place for families with children or young people. Or anyone that wants to live in peace.
