People on the phone said they were not taking appointments. Only walk in. So here we are, with a bunch of other people who were coming in as walk ins. We’re being told only people with appointments are being seen. Nobody made an appointment. What a joke. When we called afterwards, they copped an attitude with us for calling. If y’all were honest with people to begin with, nobody would have an issue.

Can’t get into the building

Someone name mr. Magsby answered the phone he is rude and condescending. I don’t know why he’s still working there. I see other ppl complaining about him too.

How do I get birth date fix ed on my social security fixed. What do I need to bring
Do I need an appointment ?
Hi all! Thanks for the responses! I saw online that as of April 7 they now allow walk ins! Wish it were clearer on the site!
You don't need an appointment but they claim if you make one, you won't have as long of a wait. You're supposed to call the number, sit on hold forever until someone answer and schedule the appointment with the associate. They told me they weren't doing appointments and then tried to say it was scheduled out 3 months. You never know what you will get with them.
Tax returns are handled by the IRS not SSA
I don't have my social security number yet, I am waiting for more than a month. Last time when I went to SSA they gave me a number to call for follow up but I could reach anyone to talk.
You can call your local office
Yes there by appointments only
You can process the request online if he's over 18. If not, you can request an appointment to have a replacement sent to you
They are only taking emergency/ urgent appointments, so they may make you place it in the mail. You can give your W4 to your employer also
Call and ask...
No appointments only
You have to call them to make an appointment I'm sure what the number is exactly.
Yes
Take Birth Certificate and ID. If anything else is needed they will give you time to bring it in. The child have to be 18yrs or younger to receive benefits, and in school.
No, you can just walk in and get a ticket much like the MVA, but you may need a few documents if I am not mistaken.
There is one just across the street. You can't miss it. It is within eye sight. They also have street parking there.
Call office-Google office number
Search Towson Social Security via Google and find hours. Social security.gov should have answers on the documents you need.
Visit Social Security website. It will say what you need.
Unknown but I would assume 3 forms of identification like a Passport, bill to current address matching the one on your driver's license, and driver's license. You might need other information besides these or not.
Yes, Handicap spaces are in parking garage. You will need someone with you to open door from parking garage into building with elevator. Social Security is on 4th floor.
No it can be mailed or accessed online at www.ssa.gov

Contact SSA and ask to speak to a claims specialist
You do not need an appt however, it's recommended doing so because you may not be able to be seen that day due to other scheduled appointments..
