Really enjoyed the apples, ice cream and corn maze. Would highly recommend.

We go fruit picking at a number of different farms almost every week since PYO becomes available in the Summer. Rock Hill Orchard consistently offers one of the best fruit picking experiences for our family. When it comes to peaches, the picking there is unrivaled - every single time we've been there the rows and rows of trees have been spilling with beautiful, ripe peaches and nectarines. There has been no need to scatter about looking for good specimens to fill the boxes or bags. We often could have easily filled the containers with fruits from just one tree! Bountiful is the word that comes to mind when we go peach and nectarine picking at Rock Hill Orchard. In terms of the fruit, there's just something about the peaches and nectarines at Rock Hill Orchard that boast exceptional taste and quality compared to others that we've sampled. They mentioned on their site that peaches seem to thrive on their soil, and we can absolutely attest to that. The peaches and nectarines alone are totally worth the hour's drive it takes us to get there every week. However, apart from fruit picking, we never fail to get the A2A2 Guernsey milk when we're there. It's quite spoiled us for other milk. And of course, the ice cream is amazing too. Update 10/09: This farm is fast becoming our happy place. We love picking apples here! Each time we've visited there have been anywhere from at least seven to over ten varieties of apples available for picking. The apples taste great! Today's visit was special as they had some carnival rides and attractions at the farm and our little one had so much fun. She went on all the rides she's tall enough for, some multiple times. She also got the opportunity to see a cow getting milked by the robotic milker. We had some delicious apple cider donuts and their famous ginger ice cream (can see why people love it). Next up: pumpkin patch and corn maize. Can't wait to check out the pumpkin cannon.

Great fall fun! Apples were more plentiful and diverse compared to other apple picking I have done in the area. Pumpkin patch and corn maze were fun to visit and not much wait for wagon rides back and forth. Ice cream was soo delicious! There were some logistical issues like the market closing very early and then a long line formed to get take away items. Seems like it would have made more sense to stay open or just go ahead and close. Not the in between. Led to issues like people waiting in line for a long while but then others walk up and take the last of an item then walking to the back of the line. So those who had waited longer didn't get to have those last items. That shouldn't be.

I was unaware of this country store and discovered it while driving to Damascus Maryland. I stopped in on a Saturday and there was a long line so I was curious as to what was drawing so much attention. Apparently they have several different brands of fresh apples as well as fresh dairy products so I jumped in line. I purchased a gallon of fresh country milk and some ice cream. The line was rather long however it moved very quickly to my surprise. I was expecting to wait much longer with it being a country stand but they have it running very efficiently. The ice cream was not quite as creamy and rich as I expected however the flavor was good. The milk was pretty good too.

Most of our flavors of ice cream are gluten free unless you choose a flavor with cookies. Most strawberry milk is made with artificial flavors so we choose to stick with all natural creamline milk from the cow and chocolate milk.
We are a farm. We have farm things to do: a pumpkin field to pick pumpkins from, a corn maze to find your way through, a tractor-pulled wagon ride, baby calves to pet and feed, ice cream made on the farm with the milk from the cows on the farm.
Yes, they weigh 12 lbs, plus or minus and cost $0.69/lb, so about $8.50, plus or minus. If you buy 10 or more, we will give you a 10% discount.
The store will be open from noon-5pm, but all fall activities will be over by then.
There are about 15 percent of the tart cherries still on the trees, all accessible from ladders. The last day for picking will be July 4, which is also the first day for peach picking.
MOST farms cant just give it away. They dont collect just urine.
