For one when we went to go identify my mom ( we didn't do a viewing) the Saturday before they had no idea what we were talking about they to scramble through paperwork to locate her folder. I knew right then and there I wish we had chosen another funeral home. As always you try to give people the benefit of doubt. Then yesterday was my mom's memorial service and it was distasteful. They didn''t have my mom ashes in her urn, they didn't have me and my daughter's pendants that we order, her service flag wasn't in case but the worst part is the photos we chose to have during her service wasn't even there. So we had no pictures to look at of my mom to embrace her memories because they messed everything up. Then told us that they'll have the CD Monday morning. What good is that going to do my mom and us because her memorial service was today. They showed no care in the world for their mistake. Despicable. It's like they tried to throw everything together the day of her service. I don't like them and I don't care who else say they had good service you're lying or you're related to someone who works there so they paid you to lie.

(There is someone there named Ms. Gladys and she is a warm, COMFORTING, genuine, AWESOME, SUPER HELPFUL, professional & beautiful human being!) Funeral Home is beautiful inside & Comforting. Warmly greeted upon entering by front desk staff. Offered beverages. Spoken to and treated with dignity & compassion. Ms Code tried her best to make everything work out; I did not have a lot of money and my mom passed suddenly with NOTHING except my aunt received a $650 burial voucher from DSS which 1 particular social worker did her best to sabotage payment (for whatever reason; ) it worked out in the end though, thanks to a loving aunt in law, plus God is Always Good. Handled my mom's direct cremation arrangements with Care and handled me with care because I was basically scrambling around on my own, and even though 2 relatives went with me to the funeral home, I was still on my own. Even the 2 staff, a woman & a gentleman, who were there on Labor Day when I went to pick up my mom's urn were gently + naturally supportive. The Care from March was greatly appreciated. Losing your Mother is an indescribable Pain; losing your Loved 1 in general is difficult enough. Grateful to God the experience was not made worse by a thoughtless funeral home which was not my Experience here. Godspeed to my little mama may she Rest In Peace ❤️🙏.

At one point this use to be a really nice funeral home. This place is over due for remodeling. It is so depressing when you walk in the door. From the lighting to the carpet. And the quality of work has fallen tremendously. Sad 😥

How do you wait until the day of (a few hours before) viewing to call the family and tell them that their loved one won't fit in the casket that was selected. Granted, they scrambled and made the situation right (in time for the viewing) but I would think that they would have done measurements before-hand and not merely relied on the word of the family as to what they "guessed" their loved ones weight to be. Outside of this, the funeral that was held in the chapel prior to our viewing ran over time, but the staff did give us that time back by allowing our viewing to run over time.

Had seen signs posted with times but was going kinda fast to read thoroughly in depth what the sign had said but yes almost certain the times read 6am to 9am. Hope this helps. They may have a website to check as well.

The funeral home usually gives you a couple but if you can't get it from there you have to go to vital statistics on Reisterstown Road
