Never been to an emergency room or a hospital for myself. Your doctors and nurses were great and they seemed to know what they were doing. They did however let me leave without giving me a short supply of pain medication. Fortunately my daughter had some left over from the same type of problem

Competent and friendly staff. X-ray technician also competent and friendly. Doctor was careful and thorough and listened to me.

I went to the one in Woodbury and they were so unprofessional! The ER staff was talking bad about me and judging me for why I was in there. It made me feel like I wasn’t getting the care I needed! They also kept getting all the beds mixed up (couldn’t remember who got what labs and if I got an IV or the person in another bed got an IV) All they had to do was look at my chart. They don’t deserve any stars but they’re getting the one star because the only people that made me feel comfortable was the person who drew my blood and the person who did my ultrasound. I will not be returning to the Woodbury one!

What is the difference between ER and urgent care?

When you need care more immediately and your regular doctor isn’t available, you may be trying to decide between urgent care or an emergency room. For life-threatening emergencies and serious illness or injury, such as shortness of breath, chest pain, open fractures or severe bleeding, go to an emergency room. When you need care for minor illness or injury, such as allergies, fevers, cuts without severe bleeding that may need stitches or a severe sore throat, and your doctor isn’t available, seek urgent care. If you are experiencing a life-threatening emergency, go directly to the ER or dial 9-1-1. Don’t delay getting the care you need.
