Lovely park, very green, fairly dense forest but maintained, seems like much underbrush was been cleared sometime ago making your line of site farther within the forest.

To my knowledge no, but beautiful trails
Not sure if there have been any sightings, but whenever I go we're pretty lackluster in food storage and have never had an issue

There are several trails to hike, i personally like Sopers Branch and Froggy Hollow. There is a few parking spots there and there is a trail that starts right at the parking areas. Sopers Branch: 24615 Frederick Rd, Clarksburg, MD 20871 Froggy Hollow: 24625 Clarksburg Rd, Clarksburg, MD 20871
Trails are open from dawn to dusk 365 days a year regardless of weather. Though it isn't suggested to hike on the trails within a day or two after it rains due to potentially slick conditions.
You're allowed to fish, though there are only a few creeks scattered throughout with not much likelyhood to catch any decent fish.
