Brandywine Festival of the Arts

It was a fun day out. Many vendors and good food! I enjoyed the Rose garden and the Josephine garden. Friendly people and a nice day outdoors. I liked the hand crafted inlaid wooden tables and the custom children’s clothing, along with all the beautiful art.

This is an annual arts festival in Wilmington, Delaware. It has many artists exhibiting one-of-a-kind art. The festival is a Delaware tradition. It has participants from across the United States and is held in Brandywine Park’s Josephine Gardens. There’s usually around 250 artists exhibiting in a wide range of styles and mediums, live music performances, children’s activities, and local food vendors. It’s okay, not outstanding. It’s a nice way to spend a day. We have actually bought original paintings there. There’s a lot of stuff you can kind find at any festival—much of it over priced. I’m not posting photos because it would just be images of crowds meandering around the grounds.
