The library hours are not very early 10 am for weekday if u need to come early this is not the place .but very Family friendly....highly recommended 👌 Security wise 👌

There is a quiet section of tables near the stacks at the windows where one can study. I used the area myself satisfactorily.

Not anymore I believe. Last month I tried since I'm graduating high school and it's a requirement, but they said they no longer offer community service hours.

All County libraries are closed on Friday with the exception of Hockessin and New Castle.

I did. They may have copies of the popular forms at one of the desks. All libraries are closed Monday, February 19th.

From the library website: New Castle County Library cards are free for anyone living in Delaware. Non-residents of Delaware may obtain a New Castle County Library card for a fee of $40 per year. A patron new to New Castle County Libraries may obtain a library card after providing a current photo ID with name and birth date (such as a driver’s license) along with proof of current, permanent residential address (such as a current bill, rent receipt, etc.).
