This is a family owned style business with employees who treat the customers with respect and always offer help. The prices are always fair, grounds are as clean as possible being a scrap yard, parking is good, they do have a bathroom open to the public, and for those hot days the office where you get payed has the AC on high to cool you off while waiting for your cash!!!

Asking how much for aluminum cans.
Chris Meeks
Fast and very customer friendly I would highly recommend this place for recycling ♻️ over many others

Tina, We post updated pricing on our website (www.reliablerecyclingcenter.com). Cans are $.30 per pound as of today, but I would suggest calling the office or checking the website whenever you'd like updated pricing. Regards, Management
We can accept the aluminum frame but not the glass. There is unfortunately no way to recycle tempered glass.
Yes we do. Please remove all fluids and the battery before delivering the mower. We can buy the battery for more money separately at the warehouse.
We accept dishwashers for recycling but don’t pay for them if they’re mostly plastic.

I've only known that they recycle metals and electronics which contain metals, not oil, plastic, glass paper, etc.
Yes, any and every metal
They do
No they don't . They will take cardboard.
Julia, We do not accept any type of tv or monitor. They can be recycled at the landfill for a reasonable rate as long as you are a Frederick County resident. Regards,
Yes they accept satellite dishes
The freon does have to be removed amiss then they will accept it, though try frederick scrap just down the street they might not require it, I know conservit in hagerstown takes them with the compressors and freon still on them so here's might as well
Their website said they accept clean cardboard.
Yes, you would probably want to take tires/ anything that's not metal off first.
Pretty sure they just do metals
Doubtful, this is a recycler.
Put it on craigs or other site. People like to rehab them and need the parts
We accept them at no charge/no pay unless the freon has been removed by a certified technician. If the freon has been removed, we buy them at the current steel price.
No
Yes
Julie, We only do metals and cardboard here. Try the recycling center at the Frederick County Landfill. I believe they will accept Polystyrene. Regards,
Jerry, We unfortunately do not recycle glass at our facility, and I am unaware of any recycling options for tempered glass. I am going to have to recommend the landfill. Regards, Management
They vary day to day, I suggest calling for specifics or swinging by there with your materials. They'll weigh everything and check their lists for you.
