We went to Dahlonega Square Hotel for a two night anniversary getaway. It exceeded our expectations in every way. Super clean, quiet, convenient to everything and a wonderful staff. From the welcome card ,with Anniversary wishes, to checkout it was a great stay. There are many places to stay in and around town but for us only one Dahlonega Square Hotel going forward.

This spot was just PERFECT as we traveled through for our friends wedding. It was so clean and authentic to the area and so close to everything downtown. Totally the cutest and the staff was great. If you're going to Dahlonega, you HAVE to stay there!

I had such high hopes for this stay and based on the reviews was very excited. I splurged and rented the Mountain View villa. Which…ironically doesn’t have a Mountain View. The outdoor space doesn’t even face the mountains. I honestly have no idea where they got the name seeing as how it most definitely does not have a Mountain View. I felt very cheated by this and disappointed as did my guests. A few things to note - check in is off site and a bit of a pain. Once we got to the actual villa, we were obviously very upset about the fact that this was billed as a Mountain View villa without the views. I will say the inside looks like the pictures and was clean. The inside is odd though. The TV in the living room is right above one of the lounging chairs so whoever is sitting in that chair can’t view it and it is TINY like I actually thought it was a computer monitor. The two bathrooms in the villa are side by side which is weird and one had a wobbly toilet. The downstairs mattress was ROCK HARD. My back hurt after my stay from how hard it was and the towels were very very scratchy. Overall, I felt a bit deceived and overall disappointed. I will not be staying here again.
