Red Roof Inn Monteagle – I-24

I was really surprised by this hotel. We were in need of a place to stay at 330am and just happened upon this location. The price was decent and the rooms were surprisingly clean. It was quiet and convenient to the freeway. The front desk lady was so kind and helpful. It isn’t a glamorous hotel but it is good for what you pay and a night’s rest.

One of the better Red Roof stays when just passing through the area. Room and bathroom were clean, mattress was comfortable and bed had decent linens. I slept great and unlike other Red Roofs, (Slidell LA, Wichita Falls TX, Dallas Tx), there was no noisy parking lot loiterers. Room had an updated sink and counter area, tub was older, but nothing wrong with older fixtures that work. Coffee was provided in room and upon check in I was given bottled water. This location appears to be family owned and there was a private garden growing out back! I look for clean, comfortable and quiet, and this one fits all 3. I would stay here again with my dog.

Positive: I got in well before check in time. No rooms were ready yet, but they were able to quickley get me in early. Negative: No big deal,but my view from my room was obstructed by a structual outside wall.

Positive: Staff was very pleasant and helpful. Room was clean Negative: The noise from the traffic on the interstate. Our beds were not made up and we didn¿t get us fresh towels daily.
