I tried to get a refill on my antibiotics and was told the doctor needed to do an authorization. I told whom ever answered the phone i currently don't have insurance due to a change of jobs and need my pills to avoid getting Myrsa again. She' couldn't care less. I'll drive cross country to a new infectious disease doctor before going back. I knew I was in trouble when the machine says listen as the message has changed. Then say's hit 1. That was it. LMA I finally received my insurance and went to see Dr. Collins. I was very impressed on how polite and helpful the staff was.

Pitiful and rude interaction with the staff in making an appointment. Cant imagine a doctor of any quality allowing such pathetic front desk staffing to treat paying patients as poorly as I believe I was treated. Why pay money to people who treat one so rudely. Its not like the doctor went to an important medical school and he /she is the only doc in town???

I was referred to an Infectious Disease Doctor based on my condition. When I called this office, I was told that in order for my case to be considered, I would need to transfer my medical records over. I did that and then called them back to follow up on whether they received my records or not; however, as typical, I had to leave a message. Left the message over 2 weeks ago and have not heard a peep from them. Reading prior google reviews, it seems to be a common theme with this office. I suggest looking elsewhere if you need an Infectious Disease doctor in the area.
