beautiful and amazing atmosphere. though the smell inside is horrible from the homeless. there needs to be security on every floor though. vast array of books and subjects. there was a homeless lady washing her clothes in the bathroom sink which caused people to feel uncomfortable and reserved around her

I used to buy used travel guides here for a blog / website I ran back in the day. Never will forget how rude the volunteers here were. Fortunately, Amazon came along and made them useless.

The Friends’ Place Bookstore inside Burton Barr Central Library is open to the public. No Library card is required to purchase items.
