Clean office , friendly and efficient staff. Visit went smooth, my doctor was terrific and efficient during my procedure and her aide was very knowledgeable. Definitely recommend 👌

I will not be back. I scheduled an appointment for help with hair loss and wide spread dry skin issues resulting from medication side effects, and a bump. Dr. Cohen was 45 minutes behind. I wasn't notified of this until I noticed the waiting room clear out and refill twice and went up to ask myself. When I was called back, I was given an apology and told sometimes patients need more time and they don't want to rush someone out. Well, that is exactly what they did to me. The hair loss? Dr. Cohen was clueless, literally, said she didn't know why it would be happening and told me to see my other doctor for this - who is a specialist that has absolutely **nothing** to do with dermatology. My dry skin issues? Gave my areas of concern a *very, very* quick look over, if you could call it that, told me to use moisturizer and pat dry (which are common sense things), and called in a prescription for steroid cream. The bump concern? I asked if it could be an ingrown hair/cyst or a lymph node and, after feeling the area for about one second, she claimed she felt nothing and brushed it off onto yet another one of my specialists (who also has nothing to do with dermatology) without even telling me if she suspected it was an ingrown hair/cyst or not. She claimed to feel nothing, yet told me to see someone else for a lymph node? I could still feel it even when I got home after the appointment. She was quick. So quick, she tried to rush out the door to avoid further questions and end the appointment. So much for not making patients feel rushed, right? She even brushed my follow up on to another doctor- at a date pretty far out. I told the office what I needed help with at the time of scheduling. If it was a time issue, this was definitely not my error and, even with a time crunch, this was a pretty unacceptable level of "care". This was a dermatologist that didn't help me with my skin or hair, and didn't seem to care to. My visit with Dr. Cohen was abysmal. How do I know? Because I went to a totally different dermatology practice shortly after and was seen by a physician assistant for all the same issues. The PA at the totally different practice took the time to explain the cause of my side effect hair loss without skipping a beat, actually checked my scalp and did a pull test on my hair (which Cohen didn't even glance at), inspected all of my skin areas of concern carefully, listened to all of my concerns, and answered all of my questions. I was given options for my hair loss, I was given options for my skin issues, I was given everything Dr. Cohen at Skin and Cancer Center of Arizona DID NOT give- even at the most basic level. I walked out of that other office with a head to toe skin and hair care regimen and answers, and not once did he try to brush the issues on other specialists like Dr. Cohen did. On the bright side, her poor treatment drove me from Skin and Cancer Center of Arizona to the other unassociated office and has made them seem like dermatology rock stars. One star for the fish tank.

Save your money! After a month of treatment, my facial rash had not yet gone away, so I decided to schedule an appointment at the Skin and Cancer Center of AZ to have it looked at by a specialist. After spending a maximum of 9 minutes with me, Dr. Cohen told me I was on the right track with my current treatment and prescribed me a different topical antibiotic because even though my current one was working fine, she felt this one would be better. Since we were able to wrap that issue up so quickly, I attempted to ask about another item, in which she promptly cut me off, told me we didn't have enough time to discuss that, and rushed out of the room. At that point, I asked her assistant if I was supposed to list each item I wanted to discuss when I made my appointment (as opposed to just the most pertinent one) and was told no, I actually needed a separate appointment for each one. She further explained that my follow up appointment would be only for this issue, so if I wanted to discuss something else, I needed to make an additional appointment. Needless to say, I won't be coming back. With my insurance, I have an $80 copay for each specialist visit, so returning for additional appointments just so the doctor can answer one question at a time would be completely absurd.

I did not have to wait long despite a packed waiting room. Felt like a typical experience. The dermatologist did not really look at my skin up close but rather just an ipad photo that was taken. Within a matter of minutes I was put on a steroid cream and small dose antibiotic. I am just so against being put on antibiotics for skin treatment because it disrupts the gut which contributes to inflammation and skin disorders. Was able to heal my skin issue with just the cream and avoided the antibiotic. While there for my appointment you can tell its kind of an out and in mentality. No other discussion about the other skin issues I have faced.

I do not know. Sorry
I had an appointment with them on 12/21/2020 and they were open.
I specifically asked for somebody else it's your health I prefer to see the PA she seemed much more courteous and took more time.
The staff and their credentials are on their web site. The short answer is that the doctors are MDs, but there are many nurse practioners. Good people.
