I was going there to help reduce the pain I was in from back surgery. His nursing assistant found I had also torn tendons in my shoulder. Pico flatly refused to help me or talk to me about it, let alone referring me to an orthopedic surgeon. I went to a surgeon his assistant recommended and got it fixed, no help to Pico. If not for the assistant. I'd still be screwed.

My dad has complicated issues and Dr. Pico did all he could to try procedures and meds before referring him out for a possible surgical solution. That's exactly what we wanted . . . to try everything else and eliminate all the feasible options out there first. I completely believe he tried all he could and don't blame him for not having the success we hoped for. He truly ran out of options and really thought outside the box to get us where we needed to be. He was patient, seemed to truly care, and was knowledgeable about procedures and meds. I trust his medical knowledge and skills for each procedure that was performed. I came here to find his number and got sucked into reading (mostly very old) negative reviews. Most seem to apply to the staff that may not even be there anymore. I wanted to add a different opinion/experience to the mix, though the front staff doesn't give me warm fuzzies either. However, I would 100% go back and have even suggested Dr. Pico to others. We have been to two other pain docs in the past couple years and were much happier with our experience here. It's not easy to find a good doctor! One thing to suggest: When making your appointment, always say you want to see Dr. Pico. Whenever we've done that, we start with someone else, but he always comes in to discuss what's needed. One negative that ALMOST made me leave . . . They tell you a check-in time and an appointment time. If you don't get there by your check-in time, they may push you back and be a pain about it. I was not happy with the front office gal who told me I was "late" when I was 15-20 minutes early for his appt. and had the paperwork submitted before his appt. time. Still, our consequence for not being there early enough was that we got delayed and didn't get out of there for almost 2 hrs!! I was ticked, but after meeting with Dr. Pico, I was impressed and decided to go back one more time. As far as phone calls and other help I've needed outside the office (asking questions, getting records transferred, etc), they have been responsive and knowledgeable each time I've called with a specific need. So that we could get good care for Dr. Pico, I decided to just play their game and get there when they asked to avoid conflict with them. We sit for longer than needed when the paperwork is done, but it's not been too long. It's not a warm and fuzzy front desk experience, but it's tolerable for the good care we have been getting from Dr. Pico.

I’ve been a patient in Dr. Tristan Pico office for over 5 years and I would not move anywhere else The staff are wonderful, Docter Pico is a great doctor and Listens to everything I need help with he is a fantastic doctor I don’t think I would like the idea of having to go and start over with a new doctor

This so called doctor is by far the most arrogant person you will ever meet. He refused to give service to a 72 year old Viet Nam Era vet .

I'm not sure. I had a Thoriasic T12 with Kypho Plasty. He did a great job.
Yes. He has performed a couple of different procedures for me. All done safely, cleanly working well.
