Great company to work on. The management is always attentive on the caregivers concern and the pay is very good .plus great benefits.

My mom was being released from a 2 month hospital stay and was in very rough shape. We only needed help for 2 weeks and she required 2 people to be there at all times. We had family to assist during the day and just needed help overnight. Megan was my initial contact and the intake was great and thorough. Unfortunately that did NOT translate to the caregivers. Melanie was the first one who came and she was really great. I was optimistic. The second one literally video chatted someone in the middle of the night and I was woken up to her ignoring my mom's calls for help. Every night after was someone new who was literally just an extra set of hands. I was still up all night having to supervise and lead on all duties as someone fell asleep sitting NEXT TO MY MOM and didn't wake up to her needing help. Not to mention that not one of them showed up on time. Anywhere between 20 to 60 minutes late. I had to call several nights to make sure we were on the schedule. The customer service was great and apologetic, but that doesn't negate the fact that 4 out of 5 of their caregivers were pretty ill equipped to do the job. One was unable to physically help with diaper changes. One quit 2 hours before her shift. It was exhausting and disappointing. I finally had to demand that Melanie be the only one most of that second week. They agreed to wave the overtime fee since it wasn't my fault that she was the only caring person they sent. She was literally the only caregiver to be kind, compassionate, and caring. It seems like the company itself is well meaning. But compassion and care really need to be the forefront of their service.

24 Hour availability, quick response time, compassionate caregivers, and great attention to customizable care plan details make it a no brainer when it comes to selecting a Home Care company for Seniors in the Valley! Plus, their "Ride With 24" ride sharing service is SO convenient!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! If you're looking for a company that is dependable, reliable, professional, empathetic, compasionate, or trustworthy please learn from my experience and look elsewhere as this company does not posses any of these traits. I understand that scheduling issues can arise, but you would think that a company that you entrust to assist with the care of a loved one would have access to resources to help bridge a scheduling conflict. This company treats their clients as if they're arranging a babysitting gig with no solutions or back-up if their employee doesn't show up for their shift. When we put my Mother in hospice we were given a list of companies to contact to provide personal home aid services. When interviewing the different companies I was impressed by how 24 Hour Home Care quickly took the initiative to formulate our home care plan by reaching out to my Mothers assisted living facility to gather information about her most recent care needs. Since she was returning home from the facility where she received full care we contracted for 12 hour daily assistance. We had 2 shifts scheduled for the first day and neither person showed up for their shift. They were able to send someone out late afternoon to change a diaper. Over the next week we continued to have spotty coverage including one that arrived reeking of marijuana...on a positive note, I must say that we did have 3 caregivers that were very good and we enjoyed having them in our home. My most recent experience was today when the aid arrived 2 hours late for her shift and left early in the middle of changing my mothers diaper. They could not find anyone else to come out and because this person was also scheduled to work tomorrow we have no coverage for the weekend. This company will leave you high and dry!
