Gary Parker (Veterans Benefits Counselor) has been a blessing for my family. I could not have completed the application for my veteran father -Oscar H. Stevens, Sr- to receive a VA pension benefit with out his invaluable guidance and support. Gary's professionalism and knowledge is a priceless asset to the VA/ADVS, and a lifeline for US Veterans. Not to be minimized, his empathy, kindness and patience greatly helped ease our concerns during very difficult times before my father's recent death. Now, I reached out to Gary for his assistance with helping my mother to receive Spousal Pension Benefits; I have received the very same outstanding service. Our family is indebted to Mr. Gary Parker, and we thank the VA/ADVS.

Good afternoon AZDVS, I would like to extend my deepest gratitude for the humbling gesture/experience of what I describe as truly top tier customer service from this entity and its team. The team that took on my request was very very deliberate in there approach and very direct. The person that stood out the most to me was a Program Proj Spec. II named Robert Davis. Robert was friendly, knowledgeable and welcoming. He made the process of my request so seamless and effortless. I felt like I wasn't being judged on his end of the request. He promptly passed my information over to the leaders above and maintained contact with me every step of the way. He even came back to my surprise when everything was approved and told me what himself and the great leaders at AZDVS were going to do extra on there in to aide in help and relief. Your group is stellar and made a current serving military member regain conciseness or what it means to have a wingman, battle buddy ect. and why we serve this great nation. I am truly grateful and thankful! Thank you all! -Mr. Sean A. Jones

No they do not nor do any of the vast majority of veteran support or advocacy organizations. Your beat option is to use the legal services match tool located at the Arizona Bar website.

Hello, Steve. The State does not provide home-improvement grants, but the VA does. One of our veteran benefits counselors (VBC) can assist you in applying for a grant if you are eligible. You can make an appointment with the VBC nearest you by calling 1-800-852-VETS(8387) or you can use the office locator here: http://bit.ly/ADVSOfficeLocator

There's a lot of information on the website, contact information and locations are easy to find. If you are in a critical situation you can go to the office. The admin office is near the VA in Phoenix.
