Love this park been coming here since I was a baby and now I fly my RC planes here. Just tiny ones though as the trees are a little tall for anything big haha.

I was feeling very bleh today so I took my girlfriend over to this area and the vibes and scenery got me feeling good again, definitely reccomend if feeling tired and bored of hanging out in the same places.💯🤘🏾

Very nice park with lots of shade & a small playground. Several picnic benches. Stopped there to eat lunch. Only possible negative is a bike trail opens just across the street. Normally this would be a benefit, but today there was some crazy guy that came out of there yelling & cursing crazily to whoever was in earshot at the park... not sure how often homeless people may come through here. He went back to the trail without approaching anyone directly, so not a big deal unless it happens often. Otherwise great little park tucked in the neighborhood.

I grew up at this park. Before the playground and walking path upgrades. The playground was old, the walking paths were full of troughs and hills, and the basketball hoops were always 50/50 on a net for the hoops... Now the hoops have nets, there is a nice new playground, and the walking paths are all fresh. It's the same nice open park it's always been with a fresh coat of paint. You can also park on the street and use the levee access to walk down to Gristmill and check out the river as well.
