I tried returning a book today, and the staff was giving me a hard time. When I purchased the book I didn’t realize there was writing on a few pages, I did not like that so I was returning it. The staff “helping” refused because of that reason. I was confused because I purchased the book in that same condition. When I mentioned this to the member helping me he said he was still not able to approve the return or even store credit. The only option they gave me was to sell it back to them. I paid $9.99 for the book, while they were trying to buy it for $2.00.

This is still a great place to buy books but not so good to sell books they don't give as much as they used to.

Pleased to have found a half price books in the Webster, Texas area. We were on a weekend getaway in Galveston where there are almost no bookstores. :( This Half Price location was of a medium to large footprint and easily accessible. I recommend this location.

All used and new stock items are bar coded in the hpb data systems, so a phone call to any store will tell you if it is in a store's inventory stock. For you, I just put these search words on eBay, "monster Christmas mash lp 1974". There is Nothing available worldwide on that #1 record seller's site. To the top left, is a heart, "save this search." When the box pops up you can indicate email or push notifications and confirm your choice. The all time best site for record sellers of rare records is there Mike. Those type of items like that rare record are only available at hpb, because hpb acquired used record L.P.s from people who are willing to part with their personal collection. Such a rare record is like a needle in the haystack. Good luck in your search.
Yes they have many different diet books and I have seen Adkins ones. If they don't have the exact one there just talk to an employee and they can check on the computer and pull it from whatever store does have it.
I'm just a customer but I think they do. I'm not at all positive tho as I've never tried to take any in.
I think you have to schedule a time to bring in your books to sell to them!
They are not buying books at this time. Call the store if you just want to donate them. Call between 10am -5pm Sunday through Saturday
I don't think so. I've never seen those at Half Price Books.
Not bad for 3 books i got 15 dollars and i didn't spend much on those 3 books so it was a win for me
I've been to the pearland location close to the 288, and the webster location off Nasa pkwy. Both were very organized and clean. The Nasa pkwy location is not as congested with traffic and people. 👍
The inventory depends on what they buy. It is best to visit or call to find out.
The clearance section is for excess inventory, no matter the subject.
Perhaps you should call them and find out.
Most likely. Have seen several different versions. Just call and they will tell you or check online and if not at that location they will have it there.
If your looking to offload your NES games, Game Over Games may buy it from you as well. Just another place to compare it too.
Don't know, I am a customer, not the store, their stock changes. Contact them. They are a chain, and if they don't have something they can check inventory at other stores.
Yes but I think they close at 9
I agree they may but it's hard to get a Strait answer about what items they have.
Depends on demand. You will have to stop by for a quote. You can accept or take back your books.
You'll probably have to call your local store. If they don't have it they will order it
I am not sure if they do I have not brought anything for them to buy.
