This church was established in 1824, the architecture is absolutely beautiful. Well worth the visit.

I got married in this church on July 26, 1975. It was a small parish that was founded by German immigrants. See my photo of the historical marker that details the church history. The late Rev. Msgr. Gilbert F. Pekar was the pastor in 1975 and conducted our wedding service. Father Pekar also held services at St. Joseph's Catholic Mission Church in Stoneham. I returned to this church in February 2020 to attend funeral services for my former mother-in-law. I was amazed at how much the church has expanded. I'm glad that the 2002 remodel did not change the character of the building. I have visited Notre Dame in Paris and St. Peter's Basilia in Rome, but this German Gothic church is just as beautiful. It holds a warm place in my ❤.

Yes, but look at their mass schedule and do not visit during those times unless you're there for mass. Be considerate of any parishioners praying in church at other times. Be quiet and do not talk if anyone is sitting in the pews. It is a place of worship that allows people to view its beauty. Just don't act like a tourist.
The church is there..Plantersville. The website is active. I go there occasionally. Not sure what the issue is. Pretty old painted church.
