I’ve lived here almost two years now. And at first, I was ready to leave after the first year. A lot of gunshots and people getting shot. But the last several months I’ve seen a big change in the apartment staff, community and neighborhood as a whole. Everyone has been working together to make things better. I sleep better at night. I have a lot of nice neighbors and we all know each other have each other’s numbers. As long as good people keep moving in we can push the bad ones out. And no more gunshots everyday. Only on 4th of July! Lol

Portofino and other surrounding areas are located in a wooded area. The bats migrate south during cooler temperatures. We have had a third-party contractor remove the bats from the inside cavities of several buildings. Animal Control cleared the incident.

They use to but everytime they change management they change the rules at first they did an it has to be older than 6 months call anonymous and ask an in general question
This property doesn't have good management or maintenance. Friend of mine lives here currently (and planning to take legal action). His apt floods there is mold in the walls. They are rude and disrespectful, they fixed the pipes, but have not replaced the carpet or come and taken care of the mold. We have contacted corporate (BNC Equities) and no one has called or anything. Keep in mind he has been a loyal resident no issues at all and this is how he has been treated. Shame on you Portofino Landing Apartments and BNC EQUITIES!!! Already reported them to the BBB and still Nothing how ironic if corporate doesnt give a damn then of course the property won't. DON'T move here especially after Harvey, because my friend has mold and this was before Harvey the maintenance team doesn't speak English very well so it's hard to get someone to understand.
