Tried to sell my car here with an offer completed online. Was told it would take about 20 minutes to get everything confirmed; 40 minutes later and they had no idea when I would actually have a confirmed offer in hand so I left. I then received an email about two minutes later confirming my offer price, which means they had it completed when they handed me my keys but just wouldn't or couldn't actually tell me in person. (the price was exactly the same as I received online so I'm not sure what the issue was). I'll find some other place to sell my car that values my time.

This was by far the best and easiest car buying experience I have ever had. There was some miscommunication while waiting to get with a sales person but once I did, the process was amazingly smooth and fast. I had a preapproval from capital one which may sped things up a bit but can’t say enough good things. They also have very fair value for my trade. If in the used car market definitely check these guys out and ask for Todd(I believe)

The process went very smooth at the beginning with the internet sales associate Garrett. He found me the perfect car, arranged for financing and the car to be transported to Colorado. Once the car arrived, my satisfaction went straight downhill from there. I went in and took the car for a 24-hour test drive, during the test drive I noticed there was a rock chip along with a hairline crack in the windshield on the driver's side. When I brought the car back in on Monday, was told by Zack he would talk to the manager and see if could be fixed. He then confirmed they agreed to replace the windshield. I had arranged to come in to finalize the purchase the following Friday, but NOTHING had been done to the windshield. Zack told me that it would be replaced on the following Tuesday, and it should be ready to pick up by the following Thursday. He also said he would throw it some complimentary oil changes for the inconvenience. I then followed up with Zack multiple times over the next few days to make sure it had been replaced-which he confirmed the tech went to pick up the car from Safelight and it would be there upon my arrival. I arrived, finished my financing (a whole different not so good story) and took possession of the vehicle. No sooner than I drive out of the service area, I noticed that the windshield was NEVER replaced!!! Immediately returned and was told by Zack that someone from service would be reaching out to me to schedule the service. NO call from anyone on Thursday, Friday or Saturday or Monday even though I kept being told I was the next person on the list to be contacted! I finally called and asked to speak to the service manager and finally Patrick was able to get someone out to replace it later that day. Very frustrating experience and too much of my time spent dealing with a situation that wasn't mine to fix! Never received the complimentary oil changes either. Reached out to Zack who told me he no longer works for Carmax, so I need to deal with them directly. So, I guess I now have to chase someone down to do that, wonder how many conversations/broken promises I will have to go through for that to be honored. Best part of this who frustrating process is getting my BMW X4 that I LOVE!!!

Thought I saw the car of my dreams but Carmax crushed those hopes when I found out just how Carmax works. They tried selling me a supposedly pristine Jeep Grand Cherokee. Turns out they did not mention at all that the 8 year old car had major under engine rust. They had the car priced at the most I had ever seen on the market. No manual either plus the engine was filthy. If this is the overhead they say you pay extra for then I don't want it lol.

Higher down payment, But they can make almost anything work🏁
They will buy your car outright from you but they won't hold your car for you to buy back.
