Yes - They've been open Sat and Sunday this and last weekend but they open for daily operation starting June 19. They have COVID precautions in place so 1 ticket buys you a 2 hour session.
Yes you can swim laps if you want to. You can even dive into the pool as long as you are in the deep end.

They have great lessons in mornings & evenings. Kids learn so much. You need to ASAP go by there or online to Dallas Aquatics to sign up. Classes are filling fast. Cya. 🏊

You don't have to rent/reserve, but more than likely, you would end up having your party picnic style on the ground as it is quite pack on Saturdays. I highly recommend renting by visiting staff at Tietze or through the website. I did mine by phone, and ended up scrambling for another table. Be sure to get pre-paid tickets for your guests (only $2). When I made my reservation by phone, no one told me about the pre-paid tickets. Have fun--it's a great place for a party!
