If exercise through hiking is your goal then this is a good trail. This is not a loop trail and there are no amenities (no toilet and no trash can).

We did a nice 4 mile trek in this trip. The trail and bridges and nicely maintained. Very pretty trail and will return for sure!

The trail is very well maintained. You don't have to push hedge or briars out of the way and there are several places with beautiful views of creeks and swampy areas. You can detour a bit to get close to the water's edge and come back. They do need to fix one place where the wooden planks are caving in, but other than that, the trail was safe!

We hiked 3 miles out and then turned around. There are a few muddy and slippery areas, but nothing too hazardous to navigate. We were out there for a couple of hours and only encountered 2 people. There is a gas station across the street in case you need to grab water and snacks. Overall a pleasant experience, would return. Cons: lots of webs and limited parking.
