Hospice is a hard word to say. And even harder to admit you need them, We got hospice home car which should get 5 stars. However my mother was sent to “symptom care and 23 hours she had passed. The problem is she was alert at home and completely out of it when we got their The room was freezing with a fan facing my mother on high speed. Why ! They said she was hot( my mother Never is hot. They said she had anxiety’s ! (She is always calm!) So they gave her medicines. She died less then 23 hours in there care. Dont trust these people

I'm leaving only 2 stars because this facility is run like a sinking ship vs. a well oiled machine. It's CEO is a man named John Lomeo. I searched this. Never met him but he needs to do a better job. I am sure he is well paid. For the money we families pay for care here for our loved ones, we deserve better. There are holes around devices in the ceilings. Some may be wired. There are walls that literally have gaps in them. There are very leaky unsealing windows in patient's rooms. How in the world did this building ever pass a NYS inspection ? His nurse with fake eyelashes and fake nails, leaves eyelashes in the room on the bed and clothes. It's disgusting. If there is a charge nurse, I wouldn't know. Never ever saw her in the facility. Some of these nurses aides are nowhere to be found when needed. Never again, will any of my family members be trusted to be cared for in this facility. Do your job NYS. If I was on the board of directors, this CEO and unseen nurse in charge would be fired. I will find out who the N.I.C. is and further review with names. I'm infuriated.

We called to have our family priest come in to give our grandma her communion and last rights. They denied entry for our priest. He drove 60 minutes to get there. This place wouldn’t allow him to see her or bless her. He had to leave. Please do NOT bring your family here.

You can visit any time as long as you have the door code and/or a family member is there with the patient.
They have nurses that come to your house as for respite you would have to ask them
