Ichiban was excellent. Our waiter was really cool and helpful. Amazing service. The food was so fresh and good. Also, the restaurant has such a great aesthetic and vibe. Man, my wife and I were really pleased. Get the egg rolls!

Ichiban is a consistently excellent restaurant that serves delicious Japanese dishes, including fresh and creative sushi, bento boxes, salads and soups (the miso and udon are really good here), all in a beautifully decorated restaurant space. Our service was very professional and courteous and the wait times were just perfect for a busy night. A wonderful experience highly recommended for all looking for Japanese cuisine in Pensacola. Pictured below include the Cowboy Roll and Crunchy Roll, Steak Bento Box, udon soup with Chicken Tempura, and Cheese Yakimando as an appetiser. Also, the ginger salad and egg drop soup. Five stars for sure!

We just tried Ichiban for the first time last night, and it was amazing! The atmosphere was great for a low-key dinner with friends, and the menu is huge. I want to go back just to try everything else! The drink menu looks awesome too. I ordered the shrimp tempura; it came out pretty quickly, and the portion was huge! Absolutely worth it. Prices weren't bad compared to several other Japanese places we've been to, and everything we ordered wound up being a generous serving size. There's several pages of the menu for sushi, but there's also tons of options for those who don't do sushi or fish. 🥢🍤🍣

TYPE I DIABETICS ALERT: If you have limited yourself from eating sushi because of the rice, ask for your sushi to be wrapped in cucumber or lettuce. Same great fish and veggies, but without all the carbs. I am a fairly picky eater and want sure I'd like the substitution, but safer trying it for the first time, I'm sold. I didn't even know it was an option, since sushi is sacred to many chefs, but Ichiban was incredibly accommodating once I told the waiter my dilemma. While you don't get the soft chew that rice provides, you instead get a nice bite or crunch, which works well with the soft fish and avocado. Now you have a choice and can hang with your friends when they go for sushi - at least at Ichiban.

Yes. They are open for dine in. They're currently seating inside and outside.
Wife and I will spend 40 -50 depending on choices. Ichiban offers a great dining experience. Hope you enjoy!
Probably not although, if you want to be SURE to get a booth at a specific time Thursday night, I would call & make a reservation. Ichibon is a very popular dinner place.
