Nice park. We try to go early to avoid the shade and crowd. They've added a shade awning over the main playground which is a nice addition. The grounds are kept very clean and equipment seems to be fairly clean and taken care of.

Gigantic park where you or your children can do whatever they want. We still have to discover all this park features cause is really big. My little ones love climbing and running around.

Very nice well appointed park system with 4 baseball fields. Concession stand in the middle. Covered bleachers. Nice well maintained fields and ample shade in spectator areas in middle. Restrooms on site and ample parking. A very nice facility. Football fields to the south.

So beautiful, it's a giant nature trail in the middle of the city. You forget how close to people you are when out walking because of how peaceful it is. There are 2 separate off leash dog parks, and a huge trail for on leash walking as well.

We took our dog to the dog park and went walking on the orange trail/sniff trail. How long was this trail? Are there trail maps? And where is the manatee staute and beach located in one of the web sites photos?

No beach just a pond. I'm not sure about the statue I have never seen it there.

Is the fenced-in dog park open again and has the ground under the gate between the two yards been filled in so small dogs cannot escape into the big dog yard?

Diviny Distant | Jun 8, 2018
Linda Daigle | Jun 9, 2018

Won't go there due to dog owners that don't clean up after their dog. Also dogs that are aggressive and owners don't pay attention.
