Every time I go into RifleGear, I am greeted with a smile and well taken care of. Hunter was very knowledgeable and clearly passionate about what he does and answered all of my questions happily.

This place is a joke. Came here the first time for engraving, they make you sign up on the waiting list to be seen or even to ask a simple question. PERIOD. waited an hour to finally be seen. Great. Rude but whatever, maybe just a bad day for them. 2nd time I dealt with them I needed another engraving. Again with the waiting list despite there being no customers even in there. Plenty of employees standing around. Everyone looks like they hate their life and when it is finally your turn to be seen, their attitude certainly solidifies that they do indeed hate their life. Another hour wasted waiting. Then they never called me to notify me of the engraving being done. Forget about calling. No one ever picks up the phone. I went down there in person anyways... again with the waiting list with no customers in there... I only wanted to ask if it was done or not, had to wait to be called though.... so I get called and there is the miserable attitude again..... gave them the benefit of the doubt after the first time but the 2nd time confirmed this place is horrible. Dont be fooled by the clean and modern facade when you walk in. No one is helpful. As you can see from the manager's responses on these google reviews, constantly trying to defend the place, talking down to reviewers. Dont take my word for it, just look at RifleGear responding here in these reviews. It shows you the confirmation you need, that they really are a very unprofessional and lazy bunch.

This place is top tier. Been going to them since they were in Plano. Their lanes and the classes they offer are awesome.

I attended several trainings with instructor Kyle, and it’s top quality. The information level & flow is amazing and the practical teachings are simple & efficient. Every time i take a course I go back to learn more. I highly appreciate his knowledge & effort in all those trainings.

Of course you can, as long as you do not bring steel core or bi metal jacket (steel jacket) ammo, which we do not allow on the range.
Green tip is not armor piercing. As long as the bullet is not steel you are good. Must pass a magnet test
No.
You can only buy a handgun or receiver with a Texas ID. We sell long guns to residents of US states that border Texas.
Yes we do, although all we currently have in stock is Brenneke Knock Out, Tactical Home Defense, and Green Lightning.
The first shooter is $20 on the 25 yard lane, additional shooter is $15 ea, max of 4 shooters per lane. On the 100 yr it is $30 first shooter, additional is $20
We aren't necessarily enforcing the 1-hr time limit unless people are waiting. When it's not busy, it's not an issue to go over.
Sorry, but we have ZERO AR-15's in 5.56 from ANY manufacturer in stock right now. End of the world and all...
Your best bet is to check online to see if it's in stock. If it's not in stock, input your email and you'll be notified once it's in stock. When it becomes available pay online and then go into the store to complete paperwork, background check etc. That way it will be put away for you rather then driving into the store and another customer ends up purchasing it.
Their website is very accurate and updated as items are stocked and purchased . There is a way to see what they have in stock via their website. Very easy to navigate.
We have 4 100-yard lanes and 24 25-yard lanes. All the pricing for walk-in customers (non-member) can be found on this page of the website: https://www.riflegearrange.com/range
Yes, we opened at our new location yesterday. The range is not yet open, may be a couple more weeks, but we are open for retail.
No it is an indoor range for handguns, rifles, and shotguns. Shotguns can only be used on the 25 yard lanes and must be using Slugs only - no bird or buck shot.
Yes we will be offering Texas Carry License classes soon after we open in early July.
Yes, when our range opens in The Colony this summer. It will probably be sometime in July when the range will be open.
That looks like bait.
We do not carry them
No, but they are making a shooting range in The Colony it'll be ready in 2020.
We do offer a 30 day layaway on items over $500 and a 60 day layaway on items over $1000.
Aftermarket Glock parts are no problem for us, just bring it in.
Just go over there.
No unfortunately not. Check out cabelas in Allen they might
