We had dinner at Coker's earlier this week and decided to dine inside. They weren't very busy and that sometimes worries me that a business might be struggling, so please go give them a try and support them. The dining room was very clean and the server was polite and helpful. Our food was well prepared and delicious!

I haven't been back here in nearly a year and it makes me sad. Cokers has always had decent BBQ, decent sides, and big portions, but it was nothing amazing that you'd go out of your way for, a decent 4/5. You generally went because it was convenient/close, the cool coke merchandise, and most importantly the ice cold fountain drink coke. Now that they're under new management they got rid of the fountain drink cokes and serve the awful tasting canned coke that you get at the grocery store. The excuse was people complained about the inconsistency in the fountain drink taste, which is simple equipment management and keeping the formula ingredients topped. Sounds like just straight up laziness to me, rather than fix the problem they just switched to an inferior cop out solution. Everyone knows fountain > glass bottle > plastic bottle/can So now they just give generic store bought coke and BBQ that's decent but doesn't stand out in a crowd, why should I come here anymore? I used to come here at least once a month when visiting the area but now I can't be bothered to go, there's better BBQ out there if they're not going to serve fountain soda.
