Not a bad place, just has a weird vibe to it. Like I was afraid of the people walking in the parking lot even though I know Sugar House is a pretty nice, safe area. Our room was clean and cozy and the kitchen table area was nice to eat dinner at. We only stayed two nights and I used to be local to this area so my experience here might be different from others.

First of all, you walk into a tiny lobby, that was dirty. There was only 3 people in front of us, and it took an hour to check in. They finally had a second desk worker come in, but she was cussing, very unprofessional in my opinion. They had customers arguing because they had been double booked by third parties. If they can’t figure out the third party thing, they shouldn’t work with them. We finally got our room. The hotel room is so small. The bed is so uncomfortable. I’m going to need a massage after sleeping there. Woke up with back pain and neck pain. Never will stay here again.

I am furious with the Sugarhouse location. This location is on a list of preferred accommodations for the University of Utah Hospital. My mom was life-flighted and my dad needed a hotel for the night while she was there. My dad is hard of hearing, so I called the 1-800 customer service line to get him a room. I had no issues booking him a room over the phone, and I sent him on his way. When he got to this location the evening person was very grumpy with him that he "had booked on an app", and she had no rooms available because there were "8" that were not cleaned. She refused him service for the night and he was left to find other accommodations. I do not recommend this location as they were not helpful, and my father wasn't even able to stay. Thanks for making an already difficult situation that much more stressful for my father. 0/10 Do Not Recommend!

I am here for work and this is the hotel the company chose. Amazing location. Easy to walk to many great places. The room was nice and clean. Great stove and big fridge. Staff has been friendly and the continental breakfast was good. I am giving it a 3 because the laundry room has been out of order for at least a week. Soda machine as well. Other than those two things, I have no complaints about this place. I would stay again anytime.
