Arrived 5pm on a hot hot July day. Temp gauge on my motorcycle hadn't dipped below 97° all afternoon. Walked into a nice chill room, 68°, newer air conditioner on "low" having no trouble keeping it that way. Lots of small independent motels have pretty poor A/C and heaters so I was really pleased to get out of my sweaty bike clothes and relax in a pair of shorts and a T-shirt.. Nice clean room, nothing fancy, just the basics, but exactly what I needed. Later on, the husband/wife owners gave me EXCELLENT recommendations for dinner! That night, even though the motel is right on the main drag, I heard no traffic noise at all and had a real good night's sleep.

We absolutely adored our stay here! The room was super clean and I loved the decorations, you can tell the room is very personalized unlike the bland white walls you see in hotels now. You can't beat the price for the quality. The bed was the most comfortable we have slept on for the entirety of our 2 week honeymoon - it was our first night of truly good sleep. The coffee was Folgers, not a generic brand you usually find in motels. The TV was a good size and had a wide range of channels. The couple that runs the place seem like wonderful people. They waited up late for us to check in when we ran into some unexpected delays and were extremely sweet and personable. We wish them all the best and will definitely be back.

The owners were super friendly, our room was very clean, and the shower was nice and hot. I will definitely come back to this motel when I drive through. Thank you for a great experience!
