The best church in the DFW area with a children's playground, grace-filled messages, powerful worship and welcoming people!

I visited Grace Revolution on 10/9/2022. This review is based on that one visit. Since the church’s overseeing pastor is Joseph Prince I was expecting something completely different. I added a stat because they seem to truly love the Lord. Praise & Worship: The two individuals leading worship were truly worshipping the Lord, but it was drowned out and overshadowed by two things, the LOUD pulsating bass, and the light show. The bass in the sound system was turned up so loud it was reverberating in my body, and distorting the music -just like when your waiting at a stop light and a car pulls up next to you and they have their stereo bass is cranked so loud you feel it in your own car and roll up the window. The LIGHTS –bright lights framing the main screen so I didn’t want to look up at the words of the song, a colored light show, and the blinding bright light panning the room and congregation. Instead of people coming into God’s holy sanctuary to worship, it seems they feel they have to entertain people and made it like a concert scene. The offering and announcements followed. The message was on hope, but Pastor Holohan didn’t he preach from the bible, what he really gave a was motivational talk with one or two supporting scriptures put on the screen. He talked about going to the Rangers game, his job in NYC, having us pick between two message titles which we liked best, and made a reference to Abraham and Isaac. In general I’m speaking here: this is like so many churches that are not diving deep into the Word and teaching what it means. They’ve flipped it– they pick a topic, give a motivational talk and support it with a couple of scriptures. This is a perfect example of why American Christians don’t operate in power. They don’t know what God’s Word says, or that they have a covenant and what the promises of God are for their lives. They don’t have a Biblical world view, or know their spiritual authority and that they can stop the attack of satan on their lives. They haven’t been taught the book of Revelation, and have no idea about end times, etc … Because it’s not being taught from the pulpit.

What an amazing church! The people there are just so friendly, and very easy to get along with. If you haven't found a church to call home, I would highly recommend giving GRC a try. I don't think you'll regret it.
