Quality furniture, minimal mattress selection, tightly packed showroom triggered my claustrophobia. Definitely a store geared toward the 60+ (and agile) group. The store is great, just not my forte.

My wife & I purchased a Smith Bros sectional sofa & a Lakeside mattress about 18 moths ago, while our new home was under construction. Michelle helped guide us thru the many choices for both pieces of furniture & provided design assistance to ensure they would fit our floor plan. The sectional sofa fit perfectly in our room; it is used daily and there are absolutely no signs of wear....we couldn't be happier with our purchase. Unfortunately, we started getting back aches after a year or so on the new mattress, and, discovered low spots/sagging. We contacted the store & were directed to Mike to discuss our concern with the mattress. Without any hesitation Mike offered us an immediate pro-rated credit for the mattress and scheduled an appointment to select a suitable replacement. Timing was perfect for us and we were able to get a significant upgrade on a floor model mattress at no additional cost! At a time when so many businesses are making disclaimers & excuses for limited availability of products and lower standards of customer service, Golden-Fowler continues to live up to their commitment to provide exceptional service along with an extensive selection of high quality products. Thank you Mike, to you and your team, for exceeding our expectations!

There are several styles and unlimited wood species/finishes available. The lead time is about nine months right now. Hi Margo! Thanks for your question. Unlike any other bedding retailer, we aim to find you the right fit the first time. Our designers work with you throughout the process with the goal of finding you the perfect mattress. While we don't have a formal return policy, we've been in business since 1960 and always work with our customers on any needs that may arise as our goal is your 100% satisfaction. A couple more details: We promise that you will be the first one to sleep on your new mattress (not always the case when you purchase from retailers with 30-day return policies!) We also promise that there's no "fine print" when you shop with us (most retailers with "__-day guarantees" make the customer jump through several hoops, like if you're unhappy within the first week, they will make you sleep on the mattress for a full 90 days in hopes that your body adjusts or that you forget and then miss the return window.)
