We were looking so forward to the opening of this Farmers Market near our house , but were deeply concerned when we arrived at the site to see hundreds of people crowded into a tight space, no social distancing being observed at all. At many of the vendor stall we could not even get close enough to view the offerings as people carelessly thronged up in the vendor space. We are used to shopping at the Farmers Markets in San Diego where the organizers have safely controlled entry and exit points, strictly limiting the number of shoppers entering the streets at one time .Lines form neatly and safely six feet apart to purchase. I hope the organizers of this event will implement some reasonable health and safety measures soon, as we will not return until they do so.

Love this place! It's like a tiny Farmer's market with fresh produce and other small business yummies (I'm obviously after the produce haha) during the weekday. Not a very crowded place, so it's pretty easy-going. The events they have are adorable. Honestly, I absolutely love the goat milk gelato bars from All We Need farms. π

The market is open year round, every Tuesday 3:30-6:30pm. It is a "rain or shine" market, meaning that they are open regardless the weather. They only close for Christmas and during extreme weather conditions.
Rice Farmer's Market customers can park in the Greenbriar lot, vehicle entrance is on Greenbriar Dr. They usually put up tall, parking flags with Rice Farmer's Market wording on them near the entrance.
No one sells the grapes. I have not seen these grapes grown in the region. Thank you for asking.
Now and for about 1 month we will have fresh figs. There may be some peaches still. Aug will bring pomegranates. Persimmons will be ready in October.
Most are grown organically or sustainable . There is a conventional vegetable vendor. Signs should be posted to reflect growing practices. Always ask?
Yes, 4 vendors sell fresh eggs every tues. Most are pasture raised. Also feel free to ask them questions. Thanks
