The worst doctor I ever went to, i had went over there because I have a really bad rash on both of my hands , I got to the there at 1:09pm and i left out the hospital at 1:15 pm and she didn’t even hear me out she said that I have eczema but didn’t tell me what kind of eczema it is at I have & then she said that it was because I wet my hand too much and because of the dish soap like what and then I have pictures of my hands and she didn’t even let me show her the pictures so she can see she said that she was going to give me a cream and if I can come back in 6weeks and said I can leave like what i literally went over there to wasted my time and I feel like the lady that was telling me all that wasn’t even a doctor foreal I feel like it was a student that don’t even know what to do if you need help with your skin or have a rash don’t come here they are not going to help you !!!

Seem to be in the same boat as others. I was put on accutane. I was told I had 7 days to pick it up AT TEMPLE. I live in and work in Montco. So I went down to the pharmacy after my appointment (on a friday) and was told I needed to be approved by the pre-auth team. So I called on Monday, still wasn't approved. I was not going to have time to pick it up until Friday because of their hours and my schedule. I told them that and was told I'd be fine to get it Friday. I asked if it could be sent to another pharmacy and was told No. So Friday rolled around (my 7th day) and I called to see if I should make the trip to Temple. I was told they were still waiting on my preauth and to call back in a few hours while they try to rush it. When I called back an hour later, I was told it was approved but I was outside the pickup window and will now have to wait 19 days. Which throws off all of my appointments in the future. I was told by ANDREW that the preauth team was to blame for not processing the preauth in time. I called the preauth department and was told by MIKE that the pharmacy never even sent my preauth for the medicine until Friday late morning It's a back and forth game and I, as the patient, am being punished for the HOSPITAL'S incompetence. And when I call to try to figure out what's next now that THEY made it so that I have to wait 19 days, they tell me to call dermatology. Cant get Dermatology on the phone because they dont answer. What a joke of a hospital system. The worst part is that I'm stuck due to my insurance. If you have ANY other options, use them. Because Temple is terrible.

8/16/22: Came back to review this because it is so frustrating getting my prior authorizations. I have a 7 day window to get my medication and I have been calling the pharmacy and my insurance company back and forth about the prior authorization. It always comes back to the same note that the pharmacy needs to send the forms over. Tomorrow is the last day for me to get the medication and I’ve called over 15 times and still cannot get ahold of anyone in the pharmacy. After I’m done this round of accutane, I’m definitely switching dermatologists. Original (12/2021) - My prescription was printed but they forgot to give to me. Was advised to call dermatology department to have them send my prescription to a pharmacy of my choice. Called multiple times, can’t get hold of anyone, and left a couple voicemails. My insurance needs to see that I got all my prescriptions but guess what? Can’t even get my last prescription because no one wants to pick up or call me back regarding my request. What a joke.

Wow, I had a 8am appt with Dr. Hsu today & it was awesome. I went to have skin tags removed. I only waited about 3 to 5 minutes before going back. A Dr., I think his name was Nicholas (Not sure) came in with a intern. I showed them my neck & back & a couple minutes later, Dr. Hsu came in, took a look & gave Dr. Nicholas the ok to remove my tags. It did move fast, but everyone was personable , answered every question I had & made me laugh. I'm going back to have a couple more removed. The pace & atmosphere is what I like.

Dermatological emergency clinic that takes Health partners possibly? Asking for a client that needs an excision or draining of a ball in near cheek, to the side of nose, under skin

Idk about emergency visits but they definitely take health partners. I do know it doesn't take long to get an appointment. In some cases you get 1 in the same week. Hope this helps.
