Nice enough place but wish they would explain the accommodations better. DOWNSIDE: No Kitchenette. No Internet Service. No indoor water. River water was piss warm. They use incinerator toilets. Had to purchase a fan to help cool the tree house. Perks: Beautiful scenery. Wild life right in the camp and along the river. Great catfishing in the river. Beautiful place just be prepared to rough it if you stay.

We go here twice a year and we love it! Best camping place. Everyone is so kinda and welcoming. The place is nicely kept and we thing is amazing.

Beautiful location. Nicely shaded camp sites throughout. Stayed over a week and now it's the first place that I think about when I want to get away from the Great Lakes. Staff is AMAZING! It was difficult when it was time to leave; everyone was like extended family....anxious to get back. K River is now a part of any of our travel plans. For the size of the campground and how busy it can be, then next addition that would be nice to see is larger shower & restroom facilities. Regardless, if I have to hit the showers at 4am when the campground is busy, it is well worth it! Just down the road is the local General Store with everything from fuel, groceries, camping supplies, hardware, take-out food, and a nice sized laundromat right next to it. Down the road just a little south from that is an awesome truck stop with take-out food, large liquor selection, and so much more. K River is an amazing location within a short drive to locations like Tulsa, Oklahoma City, Paris Texas, and many more. Too many amazing small towns to mention. If you've ever stayed there you know what I'm talking about! Post your review and experience!

We do have some trails available. Although it’s just on our now expanddd 60acres. Although we have access to many thousands of acres you can ride.
There is a $5.00 fee per person, per day which gives you all day use of the campground.

There further up away from the water. But they do have electric and water in some locations. Close to the water. Give Sheryl a call she's the manager. Great place. We love going there.
We do offer work camp. You work however much you wish. We comp your camping and your power. Unfortunately there is no hiring or pay at this point.

Yes there are. We have the Tree House on the River @ $155.00 plus tax a night. We have the Tree House in the Meadow @ $125.00 plus tax a night. The Glamping Tents are $75.00 plus tax a night and the Farm House Cabin which is $110.00 plus tax a night. We also have our Veteran's Cabin which is available to only Veteran's, their significant, children and grandchildren. You could visit kriver.com to check us out.
You can get a tent site with electricity for $20.00 a night plus there are plenty of water spickets throughout the campground. I hope that you find this helpful.
Diana, unfortunately we do not have a bunkhouse available that would hold 50 people. I do apologize for that. We also do not have a structure just to hold meetings. We do have a clubhouse but that also holds our pool table, memorabilia and kitchen area. The clubhouse "IS" for everyone's use. There would be no problem with you using the clubhouse but there would probably be people going in and out. Depending on the time of year that you are making plans for would make a difference. If it is the time of year that the weather is nice, we do have a pavilion for use and 40 acres that you could use for meetings and/or get togethers.
Probably Paris Harley Davidson in Texas. Dft airport is probably the closest major airport.
